Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking for an Operations Intern who will assist the Operations team and learn the ins and outs of the day-to-day operations activities which include providing technical and facility support to all members at Waldron so they may perform their job at the highest level possible.
In this role you will:
- Assist employees with technical products and services; identify, investigate, research, and provide resolution to user questions and problems.
- Troubleshoot basic and routine employee issues which are technical in nature including hardware, software, and networking.
- Assist employees with technical products and services; identify, investigate, research, and provide resolution to user questions and problems.
- Coordinate with IT consulting firm to ensure all advance technical related issues are resolved.
- Monitor the use and inventories of office supplies and maintenance supplies. Initiate reordering when necessary.
- Procure, setup, and install computer hardware and peripheral workstation equipment.
- Inspect all areas of the building, rendering general corrective maintenance as necessary to maintain proper level of appearance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc., and reports deficiencies as well as suggestions for improvement.
- Assist management in the development and evaluation of plans for projects to be carried out by vendors; coordinates and monitors performance of vendors performing building related services. Collect bids for necessary repairs and services.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required; troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
- Facilitate with outside vendors to ensure printing, shredding, and property management needs are handled accordingly.
- Research potential software for departments.
- Assist in cybersecurity audits.
- Work with other team members in the Operations department to improve general internal workflows and workflows in other departments.
- Build strong partnerships with all departments and team members.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Must be able to commit to the internship for multiple semesters.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our offices in Bridgeville, PA, Plymouth, MI, and Wayne, PA.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the school year and 35-40 hours per week during the summer months.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Will work out of closest office to you during the school year.
